Your £250 survey reward is waiting
YYouGov Rewards <yougov.rewards.uk@gmail.com>to me10:42 AM

Dear member, thank you for your answers this year. You have been selected for a £250 reward payment.

To claim, type this address in your browser without the spaces: www. yougov-rewards . top and enter your bank details to be paid today.

Unclaimed rewards expire in 24 hours. YouGov Panel Team

Always check the link.

The web address is split up with spaces so spam filters can't read it, and you're told to glue it back together yourself. No real company does that: they hide it because the site is a trap for your bank details.

1Where it livesIs it the real company's or person's own address or number?

surveys@yougov.com is YouGov's own address.

yougov.rewards.uk@gmail.com is a free Gmail account, not YouGov.

2What it asks you to doCheck firstDoes it want a password, a payment, a call, or a tap?

Take a survey in your YouGov account, if you want to.

Type a broken-up address into your browser and enter your bank details.

3How hard it pushesIs there a deadline, a threat, or a surprise charge?

No deadline.

£250 that "expires in 24 hours".

RememberAn address with spaces or brackets you have to remove is a trap. Never type it in.
