1Where it livesCheck firstIs it the real company's or person's own address or number?

hl.co.uk is Hargreaves Lansdown's own site.

hargreaveslansdown-invest.com is not hl.co.uk, and the contact is an Outlook address.

2What it asks you to doDoes it want a password, a payment, a call, or a tap?

It asks you to open an account on the firm's own site.

Your name and phone, so an "adviser" can call and take a £10,000 deposit.

3How hard it pushesIs there a deadline, a threat, or a surprise charge?

It warns you could get back less than you put in.

A fixed 8.4% a year, with no risk mentioned.

RememberFound a firm on the FCA register? Contact it only with the web address and phone number the register gives, never the ones on the page you found.
