Always check the password.

It wants your email password before it shows you a file, on an address Adobe doesn't own. A shared file never needs your email password to open.

1Where it livesIs it the real company's or person's own address or number?

acrobat.adobe.com is Adobe's own site.

shared-invoice-files.com says Adobe on the page, but Adobe doesn't own it.

2What it asks you to doCheck firstDoes it want a password, a payment, a call, or a tap?

It just opens the file. No password.

It wants your email and your email password to "view the document".

3How hard it pushesIs there a deadline, a threat, or a surprise charge?

No pressure, it's just a file.

An invoice you weren't expecting, locked until you sign in.

RememberNever type your email password to open a file someone sent you. If it asks, close the tab and call the sender.
